Lagan Surgery is one of our three GP practice sites which work together (Coatham Surgery, South Grange Medical Group Practice and Lagan Surgery).If Lagan Surgery does close patients who usually attend Lagan Surgery will be seen at Coatham Surgery, which is 0.2miles away or at South Grange Medical Centre in Eston. 

Coatham Surgery has free onsite parking, a pharmacy, and easy access for wheelchairs.

We would like to close Lagan Surgery so we can give you:

• More doctors and nurses to choose from
• More services
• Better care when staff are away or sick.

Nothing else will change.

• Opening times will stay the same.
• The staff and service will stay the same
• You can still call the same phone number, and your call will be answered by our team.

• Popping into one of our surgeries and picking up a paper survey
• Coming along to talk to us at a drop in event at:
  • Lagan Surgery on Friday 20th June between 10.30-11.30am or 4-5pm
  • South Grange Medical Centre on Wednesday 25th June 1-2pm or 5-6pm
  • Coatham Surgery on Monday 30th June 12-2pm

Once NHS North East and North Cumbria ICB has considered our application, and a decision has been made regarding the future of Lagan Surgery there will be further communication to patients and stakeholders.
